HSSE Compliance Auditing | Training
Compliance audits are a review of an organisation's processes to ensure adherence to HSSEQ standards. The standards examined may be created by the organisation through internal policies, plans, and procedures; imposed by governing law and regulation; or may be external standards that the organisation has choosen to follow (eg. AS/NZS 4801 OHS Management Systems, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, or ISO9001 Quality Managment Systems, etc.).
Typically compliance is evalulated by yes/no findings - the auditor must decide whether the process is compliant or non-compliant with the chosen standard. The auditor reports on non-compliances, advises of implications or risks involved with the non-compliance, and sugests corrective actions.
